What do young people in Colombia prefer? How do they plan their future and what do they plan to do after high school?
In our exclusive report "Perspectivas Jóvenes - Viviendo la Educación y el Trabajo en Colombia", we gathered information about the needs and desires of young people between the ages of 16 and 30 regarding what they want to do in their future, and the majority said that going to university was part of their plans.
Among their study intentions, young people stated that in the top 3 of their preferences are undergraduate programs, language courses and technical or technological programs. In last place they mentioned short courses or soft skills.
With multiple variations based on gender, preference for virtual or face-to-face learning, and desire or not to migrate to other places, the young people revealed the main features they consider essential when choosing a university and what they expect from their professors.
